Conversations with the Chair: Destination Preeminence

It is that exciting time of year when we welcome new and continuing students to campus for the start of another Aggie inspired school year.  Many of our alumni across the country do a tremendous job in helping to recruit immensely intelligent and talented students to attend North Carolina A&T State University and your efforts are greatly appreciated.  We are anticipating another successful year with the new academic reorganization, innovative faculty and student research, our partnership with the Greensboro Union Square campus, as well as academic and athletic achievements.

The National Alumni Association Board of Directors had a summer planning meeting and set in motion our goals for the year that will be the much needed boost to energize all alumni like never before.  We have a few big announcements that will certainly help do just that so stay tuned!  If you’re not already involved, please make a personal commitment this year to get involved with a local alumni chapter, if there is one in your area, or simply reach out to the Office of Alumni Relations to learn about various volunteer opportunities.  We need you and look forward to working with you to expand alumni engagement.  Aggies Lead and Aggies Give…because that’s what AGGIES DO!

With Aggie Pride,

Pam McCorkle Buncum ‘81
Chair, Board of Directors
