This has been a memorable year of #1 rankings, athletic national and conference championships, academic milestones and achievements and a 125th anniversary celebration for the record books. Without a doubt, 2015-16 has been a wonderful year for our alma mater and students. Your loyalty and support for our university has played a big part in making all of this happen; as we saw with the passage of the Connect NC bond, which will provide $90m dollars for the construction of the Engineering Research and Innovation Complex (ERIC).
Our fiscal year-end is fast approaching and it is important for you to make your donations before June 30. We thank you in advance for including the National Alumni Association in your generous gifts as we continue to support our National Alumni Scholars, alumni programs, and events with these donations. The National Alumni Board of Directors will be hard at work this summer meeting, planning, and making critical decisions of how to elevate the focus and dialog of the Association. We hope you will join us and encourage fellow alumni to support our efforts going forward. You can get involved by connecting and working with one of the National Alumni Board Committees. It is as easy as contacting the Office of Alumni Relations and letting us know you are ready to go to work!
In closing, as proud alumni of N.C. A&T, we have an obligation to remain educated and informed on critical federal and state legislation that may impact A&T as well as others institutions of higher education. Moving forward, the Alumni Association will work directly with the Office to External Affairs to provide you with timely and relevant legislative updates.
Thank you for supporting our alma mater!
With Aggie Pride,
Pam McCorkle Buncum ’81
Chair, Board of Directors
