Another Alumni Reunion Weekend is now in the history books and the 2017 edition was an overwhelming success! Class coordinators, committees, volunteers and reunion classes all worked tirelessly to make this happen, and we cannot thank you enough. The Office of Alumni Relations also went above and beyond to make sure everyone had an enjoyable and memorable time.
We had an amazing experience at the annual meeting on Friday, May 12, where we officially rolled out the announcement about our 2018 Aggie Alumni National Convention taking place during June 6-10, at the Westin Buckhead in Atlanta. Make sure you stay tune for dates to sign up to volunteer and register for this grand event. Also remember that June 30, the end of the university’s fiscal year is quickly approaching. If you haven’t made your contribution to the alumni association this year, please do so within the next few weeks. Your financial support is greatly appreciated and will continue to assist outstanding young people as they pursue their education.
Alumni are ambassadors, “the heart of the A&T family.” Our Aggie Pride is not only “from Dare to Cherokee,” but worldwide. We are all aware that the current political climate and proposed changes in the state and nation dictate that we do more. We must become more vocal and visible in our role as ambassadors. I hope I can count on all of you to join the ranks of ENGAGED AGGIES because we have much work to do!
With Aggie Pride,
