A&T Receives $11 million from the National Science Foundation

U.S. Senator Kay Hagan today announced that North Carolina A&T has received seven awards from the National Science Foundation (NSF) totaling over $11 million dollars. Senator Hagan commented in the release that:

“North Carolina is a leader in conducting groundbreaking research, and I’m pleased that NC A&T, Wake Forest, Winston-Salem State and Elon are being recognized with these significant funding awards,” Hagan said. “Investments in research and STEM education are key to ensuring our state and nation remain competitive in the 21st century global economy.”

The funds from the NSF will support research and education in the in-demand areas of STEM. Congrats to A&T for these funds that will used to solidify our standing as a leader in research in the state of North Carolina and internationally.
